Jim Armstrong is a Managing Director of March Capital Partners and has over 20 years of technology investment experience. He has generated multiple large exits through IPOs or mergers and acquisitions from companies where he either incubated or participated as the first institutional investor. Jim is a successful and experienced early stage venture investor in enterprise and consumer technology who has established himself as a leading investor based in Southern California.
Sumant is a Managing Director of March Capital Partners and is cofounder of two leading technology incubators in the San Francisco Bay Area, The Hive and The Fabric. He has nearly two decades of venture capital experience and has generated multiple meaningful exits in companies he has either incubated or where he's been the first institutional investor. Sumant has supported numerous companies’ attainment of market dominance, including The Rubicon Project and BillDesk.
Gregory Milken is a Managing Director of March Capital Partners, and has over 15-years of entrepreneurial and operational experience. He was the founder and Chief Operating Officer of AltEgo, a cloud-based technology and gaming company. Prior to AltEgo, Gregory was a senior executive at Knowledge Universe, a privately held education company, and worked in business development at Fox and Warner Bros.
Jamie Montgomery is a Managing Director of March Capital Partners and has over 20 years of technology investment experience with multiple successful exits achieved. Jamie was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Montgomery & Co., a leading Los Angeles-based technology focused investment bank where he advised and financed over 1000 leading technology companies over a 25 year period.

Jed Leidheiser Vice President
Jed brings over 12 years of enterprise technology experience to March Capital Partners. He was previously an investor with Work-Bench Ventures and Balyasny Asset Management. Earlier, Jed was a Senior Manager at Accenture in New York City and long-term consultant for Goldman Sachs. Jed received his MBA from UCLA Anderson and his BS from the University of Virginia, where he double-majored in Economics and Computer Engineering.
Keaton Gray Investor
Keaton came to March Capital from GE Ventures, where he invested in enterprise software and advanced industrial technologies. During his tenure at GE Ventures, he invested in 9 companies, representing the firm on 3 boards. Earlier in his career, Keaton managed strategy and business development at 2U through the company’s successful IPO. Keaton received his MBA from Johns Hopkins University and undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California.
Riley Kovatch Investor
Riley comes from an enterprise software investment banking background where he worked on M&A and Private Equity transactions from the San Francisco and Bangalore, India offices of Signal Hill. After banking, Riley took time to pursue entrepreneurial ventures and now brings perspectives from both sides of the table into his role as a VC. Riley received his BS from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley where he played on a Division 1 soccer scholarship.
Dana Moraly CFO
Dana joined the team at March Capital Partners after 15 years as Chief Financial Officer for Clearstone Ventures. Previously, Dana was responsible for overseeing the finance and operations of seven international private equity funds at Trust Company of the West. Dana is also currently the CFO for The Hive, The Fabric, and a number of March-affiliated companies.
Craig Reston Controller
Craig joined March Capital Partners after 13 years as the controller at Clearstone Ventures. Previously, he was an auditor with Ernst & Young. Craig is also the controller for March’s affiliated companies such as The Hive and The Fabric.
Rita Cardenas Accountant
Rita joined March Capital Partners after spending the previous 14 years as the Accountant at Clearstone Venture Partners. Rita also provides accounting services for March’s affiliated companies such as The Hive and The Fabric.
Meg Simpson Administrative Assistant
Meg joined March Capital Partners in March 2017. She supports Jim Armstrong and Sumant Mandal and assists with firm efforts including investor relations and fundraising activities. Prior to joining March, Meg served as COO for a Santa Monica veterinary tech startup. Previously, she was an attorney for Rogut McCarthy Troy in Philadelphia. Meg received her J.D. from Villanova University Law School after a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Yale University, where she played varsity basketball.
Lauren Holsinger Administrative Assistant
Lauren joined March Capital Partners in the Fall of 2016. She supports Jamie Montgomery and Gregory Milken and plays a major role in the firm’s marketing and brand building initiatives. Before March, Lauren spent a year in Miyazu, Japan teaching English as part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Lauren graduated from the University of Florida, where she received a B.A. in both International/Global Studies and Japanese Language & Literature.
Julia Robinson Administrative Assistant
Julia is March Capital Partners’ most recent addition. Before March, Julia worked as an IT recruiter placing candidates at various large-scale corporations including NBC, Snap Inc., and Wells Fargo. Julia graduated from UC Berkeley where she received a BA in Political Economy with a concentration in Sustainability and Development.
