Solomon is a Vice President at March Capital. Prior to joining March, Solomon was a Principal and an early member of Tusk Venture Partners where he invested in early stage technology companies.
While at Tusk, Solomon worked with the Managing Partners across all aspects of the business including sourcing, due diligence, executing transactions and fundraising. Portfolio companies Solomon worked closely with included Lemonade (IPO), Bird, Sunday and Care/of (acquired by Bayer).
Prior to Tusk, Solomon was an M&A Analyst at Lazard where he worked on a variety of advisory assignments in the power and energy space.
Solomon also serves on the Board of BLCK VC, an organization formed to connect, empower and advance black venture capitalists. As an immigrant and first-generation college graduate, Solomon’s philanthropic passion is providing educational and career opportunities to underserved students through his work with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) and the TEAK Fellowship.
Outside of work, Solomon enjoys exploring new restaurants and is an avid runner. He ran the 2019 NYC marathon and qualified for Boston. He’s excited to run the Boston Marathon once races come back post-COVID.
Solomon received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
