Brad Weirick

Partner & General Counsel

Brad is a Partner and General Counsel of March Capital, where he is responsible for overseeing investment structuring, portfolio company governance and exits, strategic transactions and compliance and plays a key part of our operations team and overall strategic planning. Brad also brings his deep knowledge of venture capital, M&A and corporate governance to our investment team’s growing skill set.

Brad joined the firm after 35-years at Gibson Dunn, where he was Co-Chairman of the firm’s Emerging Companies Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Corporations Department, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment transactions and public and private securities offerings. Throughout his career, Brad has represented entrepreneurs, public and private companies and venture capital investors (including March Capital).

Brad began his career at Gibson Dunn in 1986 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (J.D.) and Dartmouth College (B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). Over the years, Brad has been recognized in various legal publications, including Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as a leading Corporate/M&A: Venture Capital Lawyer.

Outside of the office, Brad is also active in the community – serving as chair of the board of directors of St. Anne’s Family Services, Inc. in Los Angeles and as director of the Big Sky Community Organization in Montana. In his free time, Brad loves to fly fish and ski.
