Julia Klein is a Partner at March Capital who specializes in data infrastructure and enterprise AI. She focuses on diligence, deal execution, and board responsibilities across the firm’s data and AI investments. Julia currently holds board positions at March portfolio companies Parallel Domain and Morty and is a member of Kauffman Fellows (Class 27).
Raised in Maryland, Julia is a graduate of Harvard Business School (MBA, Baker Scholar) and the University of Maryland, College Park (B.S., summa cum laude, finance and economics). Julia started her career at Deloitte Consulting. After Deloitte, Julia co-founded CareerPeer, a startup focused on utilizing technology to better match students and employers. Julia later joined Greenspring Associates (now StepStone Group) to focus on growth stage investments across consumer and enterprise companies, including Elastic, Logz.io, The RealReal, and MoneyLion. Additionally, she oversaw deployment of the firm’s inaugural emerging manager focused fund-of-funds.
Julia brings her experience both as an investor and as an entrepreneur to March. She values March’s unique blend of sector expertise and community that empowers entrepreneurs. Passionate about supporting the pipeline for women in venture capital, Julia is involved with Girls Who Invest and has served in leadership roles at Harvard Business School’s Women in Investing organization. She co-chaired the Female Entrepreneur Program at The Montgomery Summit in 2021 and sits on the NextGen Leadership Council of the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club.
Outside work, you can find her exploring a new hike, reliving her glory days on the intramural soccer pitch, shooting far over par on the golf course, and cheering enthusiastically for the Steelers and Penguins.
