Maya Matthews is a Senior Associate at March Capital who focuses on diligence, deal execution, and operational support for the firm’s investments in enterprise AI as well as cloud & data infrastructure.

A Los Angeles native, Maya moved to the East Coast for college, graduating from Columbia University (B.A., Sustainable Development). Before joining March, Maya worked for Intel Capital’s Equity Investment and M&A teams, where she analyzed various investment opportunities in AI/ML-powered enterprise software and fintech. Her experience at Intel shaped her perspectives on company building, category creation, and product leadership. Maya values March Capital’s global community and its unique approach to building deep and meaningful relationships with founders.

Maya actively contributes to the community through her involvement in a number of organizations, including serving on the leadership team of the LA Chapter of BLCK VC, the Young Leaders Council at Columbia University, and as a member of All Raise, EVCA, and Global Women in VC.

Maya relishes spending quality time with her family and friends, playing tennis, connecting with nature, and discovering the arts and culture of Los Angeles.
