Melissa Montan is Vice President of Platform & Marketing at March Capital, leading the firm’s marketing strategy, partner relations and executive networking, and leveraging the firm’s resources to help build the portfolio. Melissa is passionate about making a positive impact on the world through supporting entrepreneurs in achieving success.

Born in San Diego and raised in Missouri, Melissa attended Missouri State University (B.S. Management and Marketing). After college, she moved to the United Kingdom to attend graduate school at Regent’s University London (MBA), before relocating to LA. She has led platform and community strategies across top-tier firms, including M13, Clocktower Ventures, and Deloitte Ventures, where she worked with hundreds of startups to accelerate growth through business development, brand building, and ecosystem connectivity. Before joining March Capital, Melissa launched HSBC Innovation Banking’s Los Angeles office, delivering tailored banking and financing solutions to the Southern California startup community.

Outside of work, Melissa is an avid foodie who spends her free time exploring new restaurants, hosting dinner parties with friends, and traveling to culinary destinations. She also enjoys long walks and hikes around Los Angeles with her husband and their puppy, Momo.
