Oliver Marques is a Partner at March Capital and serves as the firm’s head of Capital Formation, working directly with the firm’s Managing Partners to oversee all initiatives related to fundraising and investor relations.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Oliver is a graduate of the University of St. Andrews and holds a Certificate in Investment Management (Unit 1& 2) from CFA UK. Prior to joining March, Oliver was Head of Distribution, UK at PineBridge Investments, a private, multi-billion-dollar global asset manager. During his tenure, Oliver not only coordinated fundraising efforts across the UK, United States (both onshore & offshore), and the Middle East but also implemented PineBridge’s fundraising strategy. Oliver has successfully raised capital across the full spectrum of both wealth and institutional investors, ranging from private banks, asset managers, insurers, local authority and corporate pensions, and family offices.

Previously, Oliver was a Director at Hermes Investment Management (now Federated Hermes) where he was directly responsible for raising capital from a variety of clients such as various asset managers, banks and family offices throughout Europe. Oliver began his career at ATI Investments (now Alliance Witan).

With over a decade of experience in investment management and capital raising across global markets, Oliver is excited to leverage his expertise at March Capital and to embrace the technology and venture ecosystem.

When not in the office, Oliver is likely surfing, taking photographs, pursuing his love of collecting art, or making brunch for his wife and daughter.
