Patrick McKenzie

Vice President

Patrick McKenzie is a Vice President at March Capital, collaborating closely with the Managing Partners to drive the firm’s capital formation initiatives, including fundraising, investor relations, and due diligence requests.

Born and raised in Southern California, Patrick is a graduate of The University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business (MBA with High Distinction) and Bucknell University (B.A., International Relations with a focus on global governance), where he played Division I water polo. Patrick began his career within the March Capital ecosystem by managing the private company selection process for The Montgomery Summit. He transitioned to an investing role at March during Fund II where he supported a variety of investment opportunities in both the US and India across AI-enabled software, cybersecurity, and fintech before pursuing his graduate degree in 2022.

While at Ross, he was an MBA Consultant for Microsoft Azure, where he worked on a project to integrate OpenAI GPT into Azure’s enterprise solutions assessments. Patrick also interned for one of March’s portfolio companies, Nile, gaining valuable operational experience. Returning to March after completing his MBA, Patrick is excited to once again support the firm’s mission to partner with exceptional entrepreneurs and teams to build and to scale great technology companies.

In his free time, you can find Patrick cheering for his favorite sports teams (Michigan Wolverines, Lakers, and Dodgers), cooking one of his favorite dishes or experimenting with a new recipe, golfing, or hiking with his black lab, Boone.
