Zachary Brown

Vice President, Capital Formation

Zachary Brown is a Vice President at March Capital, spearheading the firm’s capital formation efforts; he serves as the primary liaison for investors for performance reporting, direct co-investment opportunities, and fundraising.

Born and raised in New York City, Zack attended Vanderbilt University (B.A., Economics; minor in Corporate Strategy) and graduated as a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honors Society. Zack began his career at Credit Suisse, focusing on M&A and IPO transactions for large industrial clients such as AK Steel, Alcoa, Cliffs Natural Resources, GE, and Peabody Energy. He later moved to ZX Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he was an operating partner and mid-stage investor in craft beer brands and last-mile delivery platforms across Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Zack credits his experiences at ZX Ventures and Credit Suisse for instilling process management and communication skills that are essential to his role at March. He enjoys the well-rounded nature of his colleagues and March’s investors, the quality of entrepreneurs in March’s portfolio, and the firm’s energetic office atmosphere.

Outside the office, Zack embraces the great outdoors as much as possible, whether that means skiing, playing roller hockey, or hiking. He also has a penchant for reading, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and rooting for any NY sports team.
